{"id":812,"date":"2015-08-06T21:05:07","date_gmt":"2015-08-06T21:05:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/articles.befrugal.com\/?p=812"},"modified":"2015-08-06T21:05:07","modified_gmt":"2015-08-06T21:05:07","slug":"befrugal-account-faq","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogtest.befrugal.com\/index.php\/2015\/08\/06\/befrugal-account-faq\/","title":{"rendered":"BeFrugal Account FAQ"},"content":{"rendered":"<article class=\"content-block\">\n<style>\n\t\t.card-help a {margin:0px; color:#2196F3;}\n\t<\/style>\n<h4><span class=\"txt-upper\">BeFrugal Account FAQ<\/span><\/h4>\n<div class=\"card-help\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"icon-help\"><\/span><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#!\">How do I request my Cash Back?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Visit the <a href=\"\/account\/member\/request-payment\/\">Payouts<\/a> page of your account to select your preferred payment method and request a payment.<\/p>\n<p>You need to accumulate the minimum amount, specified on the Payouts page, to be able to request your Cash Back payment.<\/p>\n<p>You will receive your payment via check, Direct Deposit to U.S. Bank Account, PayPal, Zelle, Venmo or eGift Card.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"icon-help\"><\/span><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#!\">What is a Shopping Trip?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Anywhere on the BeFrugal website or in a BeFrugal email, phone app or browser add-on, all of your clicks on any Coupon, Deal or Shop Now button are recorded in the Shopping Trips table.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\tA cash-back-eligible click will always have a Click ID. If you ever need to inquire about missing Cash Back, this number comes in handy when contacting BeFrugal support.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\tIf the cash-back-eligible click results in a purchase, the store will notify BeFrugal about your order within 7 days or less and a green money bag icon will appear next to your Shopping Trip, indicating that you have received Cash Back for your purchase.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"icon-help\"><\/span><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#!\">How do I edit my email\/password?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>On the <a href=\"\/account\/member\/my-settings\/\">Profile<\/a> page, you can update your password and email address, as well as any other information about yourself.<\/p>\n<p>If you have not previously done so, you will need to confirm your email address to access your BeFrugal account.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Changing Password<\/span><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t<br \/>If you cannot login to your account, on the Login pop-up, click on <a href=\"\/account\/member\/forgot-password\/\">Forgot Password?<\/a> You will then receive an email with a link that will allow you to create a new password.<\/p>\n<p>If you have already logged in, find 'My Account' at the top of the BeFrugal site and, on the <a href=\"\/account\/member\/my-settings\/\">Profile<\/a> page, click on 'Change Password.'<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Changing Email<\/span><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t<br \/>To change your current BeFrugal email, log into your member account. On the <a href=\"\/account\/member\/my-settings\/\">Profile<\/a> page, click on 'Change Email.'<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"icon-help\"><\/span><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#!\">How do I change my payment preferences?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In your BeFrugal account, on the <a href=\"\/account\/member\/my-settings\/\">Payouts<\/a> page you can switch between payment via check, via Direct Deposit to U.S. Bank Account, via PayPal, via Venmo and via eGift Card.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"icon-help\"><\/span><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#!\">How do I change my email subscription preferences?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>On the <a href=\"\/account\/member\/email-subscriptions\/\">Email Subscriptions<\/a> page, you can control all of the emails sent to you from BeFrugal. Subscribe or unsubscribe from newsletters, store updates, personalized offers, and more. Toggle the On\/Off button to your preferred setting for each email type to change your settings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li id=\"participate-raf\">\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"icon-help\"><\/span><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#!\">How can I participate in the BeFrugal Refer-A-Friend program?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>You will receive a bonus when you refer a friend by using Refer-a-Friend invites on BeFrugal. This bonus will become available when the member has met the requirements of the Refer-a-Friend program terms. Members may earn multiple Refer-a-Friend Bonuses by referring multiple new members.<\/p>\n<p>The terms for the current Refer-a-Friend Bonus program can be found <a href=\"\/Refer-A-Friend\/\">on the bottom of the Refer-A-Friend page<\/a>.<br \/>The terms for the past Refer-a-Friend Bonus programs can be found in the <a href=\"\/account\/member\/bonus-activity\/\">Bonus Activity section<\/a> of the account.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li id=\"signup-bonus\">\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"icon-help\"><\/span><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#!\">Does BeFrugal offer a sign-up bonus?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>During special promotional periods, BeFrugal will offer a Sign-Up Bonus for first-time users who create a new BeFrugal account. Only users who sign up to BeFrugal during a promotional period, or via a link or web page on BeFrugal where such bonus is being promoted, will be eligible for the Sign-Up Bonus.
